1. Scope

This policy applies when you visit the WriteGlide website, create or use an account, save workspace material, contact us, place an order or manage billing, or choose to use a connected integration, publishing destination, AI-assisted feature, or MCP connection.

It does not replace the privacy terms of a third-party service you independently choose to use.

2. Who is responsible

WriteGlide is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact WriteGlide about privacy at [email protected] or through the contact page.

We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request so that account and workspace information is not disclosed to the wrong person.

3. Information we process

Account and profile information

This may include your email address, username, password in protected form, profile or account details, account preferences, and authentication records.

Workspace, draft, and source content

This includes drafts, notes, transcripts, outlines, source material, voice guidance, revisions, approvals, publishing plans, and other content you choose to place in your workspace. Drafts are associated with your account and are intended to be visible within your workspace.

Support and communications

We process messages, feedback, request details, and related contact information when you communicate with us.

Orders, billing, and transaction information

If paid products or services are offered, this may include order history, billing details, subscription or purchase status, tax-related information, transaction identifiers, and payment status. Payment card details are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not intentionally stored in full by WriteGlide.

Device, log, and security information

This may include IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, diagnostic events, login activity, and records used to maintain service integrity and prevent abuse.

Cookies and preferences

We process essential authentication, session, security, and preference information as described in the cookies section below.

Connected integrations, MCP, and AI data

When you choose to invoke an enabled integration, MCP connection, or AI-assisted feature, we may process the prompts, workspace context, instructions, outputs, destination details, and connection information needed to perform your request.

What you need to provide. An email address and authentication information are required to create and use an account. Transaction information is required only if you make a purchase. Workspace and source content is optional, but a feature cannot process content you do not choose to provide.

4. Where information comes from

  • Directly from you when you register, edit a profile, add workspace content, contact us, or make a purchase.
  • Automatically from your browser, device, cookies, and service logs when you use the site.
  • From payment, order, email, hosting, security, or support providers that help complete a transaction or operate the service.
  • From an integration or compatible client when you direct that service to connect with WriteGlide.

5. Why we use information and our legal bases

Depending on where you live and the context, we process personal information on the following grounds:

  • Contract: to create and secure your account, save and retrieve workspace content, provide requested features, manage orders or subscriptions, and respond to service requests.
  • Legitimate interests: to maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service; understand operational performance; prevent fraud and abuse; and communicate about the service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to keep records, respond to valid legal requests, meet tax or accounting duties, and enforce applicable requirements.
  • Consent: where we ask for permission, such as for non-essential cookies or another optional activity that requires consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

6. AI-assisted processing and MCP connections

When an AI-assisted feature or MCP connection is enabled and you choose to use it, relevant prompts, instructions, and workspace content may be sent to the configured provider or compatible client at your direction. We use that information to return the requested draft, revision, retrieval, or workflow action.

Based on current functionality, WriteGlide drafting and revision tools do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about a person.

Only provide content you are authorized to use. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information, confidential business information, regulated data, or another person’s private information. Review generated or transformed content before relying on or publishing it.

7. Who may receive information

We may share information only as reasonably needed with categories of recipients such as:

  • Hosting, content-delivery, security, database, and backup providers.
  • Email, communications, and customer-support providers.
  • Payment, billing, tax, and order-management providers.
  • AI or model infrastructure providers when you invoke a configured AI-assisted feature.
  • MCP clients, integrations, and publishing destinations you authorize.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or legal authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required.
  • A successor or prospective successor in connection with a legitimate business reorganization, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not give a connected destination broader access merely because it is available; a user-directed connection or feature must be used.

8. International transfers

Providers and compatible services may process information in countries other than your own. Where transfer safeguards are required, WriteGlide will use an appropriate lawful safeguard or another permitted basis and will provide relevant information on request. The applicable safeguard depends on the provider, locations, and legal requirements at the time; this policy does not claim a single mechanism for every transfer.

9. How long information is kept

We use the purpose, account status, legal duties, security needs, dispute risk, and technical backup cycles to decide retention:

  • Account and workspace information is generally retained while the account is active or until deletion is requested, subject to necessary exceptions.
  • Order, transaction, tax, and legal records are retained for the period required by applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
  • Support messages, diagnostic logs, and security records are retained only for the operational, security, dispute, or legal need that applies.
  • Deleted information may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups age out through ordinary cycles.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect account and workspace information. No internet service, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your password confidential, use a unique password, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

WriteGlide uses essential cookies or similar storage for login sessions, account security, fraud prevention, and preferences. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login or other account functions from working.

The current WriteGlide service configuration does not use optional analytics or advertising trackers. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, we will update the notice and request consent or provide choices where required. You can also manage cookies through your browser, subject to the functional limits described above.

12. EEA and UK privacy rights

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information; object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

You may also complain to the data-protection supervisory authority responsible for your location. Some rights have legal exceptions, and we may retain limited information where required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

13. California privacy rights

If California privacy law applies to you and to WriteGlide, you may have rights to know or access relevant personal information, request deletion, request correction, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a right.

Based on the current service configuration, WriteGlide does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will provide updated notice and any legally required choices before the new practice applies.

14. Children and eligibility

WriteGlide is not directed to children. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement for the service in your location. If local law requires parental authorization, do not create an account without that authorization. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information improperly.

15. Third-party links and integrations

WriteGlide may link to or connect with third-party clients, payment services, publishing platforms, or other destinations. Their privacy practices and terms govern their independent processing. Review those notices before directing content or account information to them.

16. Changes, questions, and requests

We may revise this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective or last-updated date and provide additional notice when required.

To ask a privacy question or exercise an applicable right, email [email protected] or use the contact page. Describe your request and the account involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority.

For the rules governing use of the service, read the Terms of Use.
